Arrow exhaust system
Good power for a 125.
Excelent brakes, wait till the last minute!
Excelent light handling, really hard suspension feel every bump, which can be good and bad!
A GP bike on the road! Not recommended for a first bike! Need to rev the bollocks of it to take off, about 10,000rpm!
Drinks fully synthetic oil and super unleaded! Put on some bridgestone BT96's and the handling is amazing!
Standard apart from Arrow end cans ..
it fluffs and occasionally 4-strokes until properly warmed up, and always feels like there is 'custard' in the cylinders until 8000rpm. After that, it can only be described as a mechanical orgasm, as it goes from 8000 to 12,000 in a blink. Proper, sorted stroker with a wicked powerband. Just how it should be.
Incredible Brembo's up front coupled with the very light weight of the bike make this the one to learn 'stoppies' on. Great feedback from the chassis about what's going on under the front tyre, making late braking one of the most fun things about the RS.
Unbelievably good. Plenty of adjustment to suit all sizes and styles. If you can't get one of these to hustle through the bends, give it up ...Very surefooted, precise, amazingly quick to change direction without upsetting anything. Just the absolute best available. Stiff, beautifully made chassis and swing arm.. quality parts for the suspension ..what more do you want ??
A completely impractical, uncompromising, uncomfortable motorcycle that is extremely expensive to run (28mpg, gulps 2-stroke oil, eats tyres, chains, sprockets, brakepads) .. The upside is that none of this matters once you have warmed it up, snicked into gear, set the revs at about 10,000, slipped the clutch and wailed off in a cloud of stroker smoke .. Every ride becomes the 'last lap' and you find yourself looking for victims (riders on big lardy 4-strokes) to out-brake and duff up through the twisties. Big Fun. Isn't that what bikes are supposed to be ??
non
engine is weedy till about 8000rpm
Feel is awesome best i've ever used
handles brilliantly goes where ya point it no nasty supprises
bike is still restricted so motor feels weedy but on a whole the bike is great fun.
Feels great, but still it's a 250,you can take the big guy on the R1 in the corners and during braking...
Braking is amazing, never drove any better bike than the Aprilia....
With such a light weight the handling is superb, excellent stability at high speed cornering, takes a while to get used to this speed...
Excellent bike, but needs a little more bottom power but hey,it's a 2-stroke right? Frequent dealer service if you want to keep your Aprilia in perfect condition...
