rennsports-stable and sticky 20mm lopped off handlebar ends-more would be good forks dropped 10mm in clamps-more turn in,less push heat guard on exhaust pipe near rearshocker
power is a little abrupt from closed a throttle
plenty of power and MORE feel than radial calipers in the front rear brake is wimpy and lacks any real feel-like most euro-bikes,it seems
very farkin nice, thanks. It tips in well and is stable mid-corner at all speeds, and the ground clearance lets you get it down quickly without anxiety.Doesn't really seem to need the steering damper.Generous steering lock too.The bike will hold a tight line on the track but stays stable at warp speed(alright, it tops out at only an indicated 250+kph,but it feels like C Drive without a real fairing!).This jigger is a back road weapon!
The high bars take a while to feel right and for me,the bend isn't perfect, but the leverage they afford when you need to really chuck the bike around makes them worth having, even if you do get beaten up riding at over 160kph without your chin on the tank.Unlike other naked bikes I've ridden ,the Tuono's chassis and running gear is full-on sportbike.Next step is to source some clip-ons for ride days so I won't get repassed by R1s and GSXRs along the straights! The ergos, apart from the bars, are RSV and the existing bar controls look like they will fit straight onto clipons.
