Slow under 7,000 RPM, but a monster when keeping it in between 8,000 and 11,000.

Brakes

Could be alittle crisper.

Handling

No problems, very flickable.

Comments

Wonderful eye catching, supermodel among bikes.Yet, an aftermarket seat is a must, or else a sore ass is guaranteed.

Comments

at 35 miles something let loose in the engine and destroyed the clutch $4000.00 worth of damage including the fact that i dumped it when it happened and messed up the body Ducati has been great about covering the costs but it's taking a while to get it back (parts come from italy) (they didn't replace it like i wanted them to though)

Mods

Standard 2003 spec with termis, colour coded mirrors

Carberation

Power delivery smooth but needs to be revved. Still running in so limited revs to 7k at present.

Brakes

Awesome! Great feel from front, rear can be trailed into turns to shed some speed

Handling

Mostly neutral under power at right revs, can push wide if in too high gear/too low revs. Lots of feedback through suspension

Comments

Best bike I've owned, just love it!

Mods

CF Front Fender and Clutch Cover, Power Commander III, Heli-Bars

Carberation

Not fast like R6's or CBR 600's but pretty good punch from 7K on. I'd like 15-20 more hp (i.e. 998).

Brakes

Strong in front, rear only to settle suspension

Handling

A gem- makes me feel like I'm good. My favorite thing about the handling is that you're fast without noticing. I ride at 80% through twisties and nobody keeps up.

Comments

No reliability issues so far (knock on wood), looks a million bucks and is an absolute blast to ride. If anyone buys a 9xx/748 I strongly recommend bar risers as your first mod. It doesn't affect handling, but it does make the bike very tolerable for long rides.

Mods

Some carbon extras, including Ferracci exhaust.

Carberation

Smoother ride and better pull above 7000 rpms. V-twin clears traffic well at lower rpms when splitting lanes.

Brakes

Powerful front brake, but the rear brake lacks force.

Handling

Better than I am.

Comments

I've owned a Ninja 250 and 636. I bought my Biposto 748 used, and it is my favorite bike. The seat angle and adjustable controls make for much more comfortable long rides than the 636's manhood-crushing saddle. Plus, everyone I know thinks the Ducati looks incredible. I customized my 636 with glow kits and all kinds of extras, but people still say my nearly stock 748 is hotter.
