Fender Eliminator kit. All the rest is stock
Has great power when you get on the throttle. Another great transmission by Honda. Easy to pick up off the throttle.
Good braking system even if you have to lock it up. Feels great
Handles well. A much easier bike to ride. Takes corners well. Im in love with the Honda Electronic Stabilizer.
Great bike. Does not wobble at all when you get over 100 mph. Need to have RPM around 6000 to 6500 to pick it up in first off the throttle.
power commander and two brothers slip on
didn't notice any flat spots in power delivery. bike's power is more impressive to me than my 2002 r1 or my zx-7r of course. best bike by far than any other comparison
haven't had oppurtunities to do some hard braking yet. no problems thus far
outhandeles any bike ive ever rode, includes a yamaha r1, kaws-2x7r, gsxr 750. handeles like its on rails. superb

Feel, Strength
Stock other then flapper mod and flush mount turns PAGE WOULD NOT LET ME ENTER 2006. THIS IS A REVIEW ON THE 2006 Honda 1000RR, NOT 05. PLEASE NOTICE AGAIN, THIS IS A 2006.
any flat spots etc. No real flat spots. Alittle twitchy when getting on the gas from full closed. Kind of annoying but other then the that power band is amazing, plenty of torque, definitely doesnt like to keep the front wheel on the ground in first under heavy acceleration. The power band is very linear with no suprises, just steady steam that picks up the higher you take it. Feels like a super fast train, very smooth. Pulls nice from as early as 3K in any gear, but once your at 7-8K, thats when the real fun begins.
Feel, Strength The brakes are great. Rear brake alittle weak, but thats not to bad because it resists locking up when riding aggressively. The front brakes are very progressive, could use alittle more initial bite. Other then that, they scub the speed off when asked.
This thing is on rails. I can take corners faster then ever with no worries. It is very easy to build confidence on this bike. I was easily getting the bike to full lean my first canyon trip on it. The front end feels alittle weak, but im 6 foot and 215 so that may explain this. I will adjust it further for better results. The bike communicates whats going on underneath you which is good for keeping the tires in check. Overall, I would trade this bike for anything. Ive ridden R1's, last bike was a Gixxer 6, and dare I say, I am easily faster on this bike then the Gixxer in all but the really tight stuff.
Very good quality, fit and finish. Well put together platform, easy to just hop on and go. Can't go wrong with this bike. Not recommended for new riders, but give your self some time then hop up to something like this. It will blow your mind.
