List the modifications on this bike

Carberation

any flat spots etc. Very quick throttle response, not sport bike throttle response but damb close

Brakes

Feel, Strength Brakes are confident double disk up front single in rear

Handling

The handling is great for a bike with the handle bars in an upright postion. You can really srew into turns with this bike.

Comments

All and all a great bike for the money. Six grand out the door. It looks sharp although the only color available is a blueish purple. More purple then anything. Very comfortable, it's fast and gets great fuel mileage. I would say it's a great first bike, a woman's sport bike if your over five foot five feet tall. Or someone who want's the look of a sport bike but the upright postion of a crusier. Check this bike out. Best bang for your hard earned dollar. But I'd upped the extra two grand and get the Fazer R1. It's fast ,looks great and has the upright handle bars.

Mods

List the modifications on this bike D&D exhuast jet kit and a K&N filter.

Carberation

any flat spots etc. The bike was lazy with the stock pipe and jetting. Put pipe and jetting on the bike with the K&N filter and it felt like a rocket. When you hit the gas it was there not to mention the front wheel pulling of the ground. The bike from the factory is very detuned to the motors potential.A little money and some know how you can turn this bike in to a real preformer. And it is cheap for a 750!

Brakes

Feel, Strength Brakes are good and strong

Handling

Bike handles well. Nice seating position.

Comments

Cheap for a 750. Good every day bike. Easy to work on and modify. Parts are cheap and the motor has been around since the old Gpz 750's in the mid 80's and stood the test of time.

Mods

Short Stalk Blinkers up front, Flush Mounts rear; Muzzy Bolt-on in carbon fiber; carbs re-jetted; Buell Fly-Screen; PVC inserts in fork tubs to increase preload; Flanders wide center drag bars; chopped rear fender

Carberation

When I added the Muzzy can there was a very noticable stumble between 2000-3000 RPM. Rejetted to richen the fuel mixture and that cured that. Now bike performs smoothly at all RPMs.

Brakes

Brakes are adequate, not great. Thinking of going with different pads to see what effect that may have

Handling

With new drag bars and PVC inserts in fork tubes to stiffen front end, the bike handles great. New riding position really inspires confidence.

Comments

Great bike for the money. I picked this bike up for less than $4000 with only 900 miles on it. Have about $1000 in it and feel that every nickle was well spent. Great first bike of for those looking for decent performance, great looks and a cheap ride. I like mine but will probably replace it in a year or so to go with a true sport bike...GSX-R perhaps??

Mods

List the modifications on this bike: Where do I begin? Wiseco 810 kit, Megacycle Cams, Ported Head, Yoshimura Valve Springs, Fully Muzzy Exhaust System with Titanium Muffler, Factory Jet Kit with K&N and air box mods, Daytona Oil Temperature Guage, HyperPro Shock, Super Brace Fork Brace, Braking Front Waive Rotors with Ferodo SinterGrip Pads, Steel Braid Brake Lines, Sargent Seat, Under Seat Tray, Real Carbon Fibre Side Covers, polsished rims, and a bunch of other stuff I can't even think of right now.

Carberation

The power is good, with 84 rear-wheel horsepower. Stock was 64 horsepower, as tested on the local dyno.

Brakes

The combination of the Steel Braid Brake Lines, Braking Waive Rotors, and the Ferodo SinterGrip Pads, Make For Good Braking! It Will Stop!

Handling

The handling is improved with the HyperPro Shock with a remote reservoir, which has both high speed and low speed damping. The fork brace helped too as did the Dunlop 208'S

Comments

What could be more retro and an old KZ motor sitting in a somewhat modern chassi? Overall a very good bike which does many things well--not great--but well!

Mods

Factory Pro STD drop-in carb recal kit, Factory Pro Ignition advance rotor, Jardine RT-One Race exhaust, Corbin Gun Fighter seat.

Carberation

The original tuning had pretty weak power until you hit about 6k rpms, but gas milage was great (50+ mpg).

Brakes

ok

Handling

The only complaint I have is the front-end dive when braking hard.

Comments

For the price this is a great all-around bike for begginers and long-time riders.

Mods

List the modifications on this bike Stainless Steel Brake hoses frony and rear, soon to fir same on oil cooler.

Carberation

No flat spots, faster response once fully warmed up.Acceleration impressive for ouitput and torque of engine, leaves "tailgaters" struggling.

Brakes

Excellent feel and feedback, big handful=impressive stopping distances and sqeals front tire if you're really trying!

Handling

OK! Can get caught out on fast ripply bends but all round it's safe and gives no nasty surprises.

Comments

Good value for money. Great bike if you're not a "Power Ranger". A Miler Muncher which lets you walk away upright after racking up a good few miles in one hit un like the Plastic Rocket brigade who take a while to straighten their joints. As a 62 year old rider who's still fairly quick it just what I need and no it's not for sale!!!! Thanks a Million Mr.Kawasaki!!!!!!!!!!!
