None, just got the bike.
has lots of raw power in first 3 gears. better hang on tight, because the front end will come up in all three gears. Hesitates a little under 4000 rpm's.
Brakes are racing quality just the way they come.
This bike has tons of power, but my CBR 954 can cut the corners tighter. I can whip the 954 back and forth easier. But by no means is this a bad handler.
One hell of a bike, even in the twisties.
Unbolted rear fender < no more mud shovel 2 Brothers slip on
Low end power is kinda twitchie (is that a word?) from about 2-4k the throttle is real sensitive , after that , hold on because this rocket wants to fly, from 5-9k throttle is smooth controlable power , after that the power seems to shoot through the roof causing 90 mile an hour power wheelies, vibrates a little after about 160mph but what do you expect
Brakes what are those? Really though stopping is fast , and smooth , good thing cause I ride with a bunch of nuts , and stopping fast is a priority
Was able to keep with some r6s's through some major twisties, then on the straights I whooped em
I love this bike , whenever my girl doesn't put out , I go for a quick ride ...then I'm fine Thank you Suzuki...
stock
It just pulls and pulls
Pretty good - especially for a stock bike, but they'll get some braided lines soon.
great - hard to keep the front end down though and the suspension took some dialing in. Once it get's worked out it's great - it steers quite well.
F****
standard
only glitches are at low speeds, hit a bump or pot hole and the bike lunges forward if you don't hold throttle very still
at first felt like suzuki of old,but after some hard riding really came together, now learning stoppies
awsome flys like at butterfly stings like a bee
a fellow biker has a RSVR,he's always last home need we say more
Stock 2003, GSXR 1000: This bike is awsome with never ending power, the midrange on the bike makes you feel like a little kid all over again. Hit each gear at 10,000 RPM and get ready to scream under your helmet like there was know tomorrow. This bike is so race ready it takes riding to another level it makes me feel like the bike has more talent than i do (and it does).
None whats so ever
Execellent brake response with no fading
This bike will out handle you it is in my opinion the most race ready bike ever produced.

this bike is trash compared the ZX12R. They don't even compare. You can keep this trash. This bike sucks and I wouldn't even take one if someone tried to give me one. 2 thumbs down, you suck GSXR1000
SLOW, SLOW SLOW this bike is trash compared the ZX12R. They don't even compare. You can keep this trash. This bike sucks and I wouldn't even take one if someone tried to give me one. 2 thumbs down, you suck GSXR1000

Cylinder head - ported, polished, 2mm oversize intake valves, gsxr 750 springs, with a set of Web Cams. Block - 3mm overbore with a custom set of JE pistons. Carrillo pro H-beam rods. Crankshaft - fully race prepped by Falicon. Falicon billet clutch basket. 43 tooth rear sprocket. TiForce pipe. Powercommander. Fender eliminator kit. Brembo master cylinder. Performance friction brake pads. Ohlins adjustable steering damper
No loss of low end power. This bike will power wheelie in 6th. Problem is, my friends can't keep up. But I guess that was the point!
The Brembo master cylinder combined with the performance friction pads have greatly improved the bite, feel, and control of the front brakes.
Handles like a champ
This bike replaces my 2002 Honda 954. While the Honda was a nice bike, I felt that the Suzuki was a better base platform for performance modifications.
hi this is my story i brought a 2003 gsxr 1000 on 3/13/04... and when i left the dealer the bike had one mile on it about the time it had 3 miles on it the bike was down and skidding down the rode... so as i wait to hear if the bike is totaled or not..i wanted to tell you this bike is serious, fast,as hell......... if you get one be safe ride it, and respect it becasue it will throw you off like a little biotch... p.s. stay up
snappy first,2nd,3rd gear
powerful
be safe respect her she is a beast

Yoshi Tri oval, K&N mud flap and blinker replaced.
Little flat till about 4 grand after that hang on, that was with stock pipe and filter, after mods seems alot lot better at low rpm's but might of lost a little on top, going to have the ecu remapped for the new mods
so far so good
runs and handles
Love it, thinking about trading in my ZX9R for another one. Performance feels like a 2 stroke drit bike( on a bigger scale) when you grap a handful of throttle just takes off and won't stop till you let off.
arata full exhaust, powercommander with custom map,k&n airfilter, rear fender eliminatoe kit, front rake spacer. 165.7 rearwheel hp yeaaah boyyy!!
a little easy going until 5000rpm and then hang on for the ride of your life.Power delivery is super smooth.
brakes feel good but this bike could use steel braided brake lines for less fade.
with my spacer it turns quicker than a 16 year old boy spotting a naked woman walking down the street. This bike with a few suspension adjustments holds it's line like a poor man holding a winning lottery ticket
Goota love that gixxer. Read all the articles it has the best lap time everytime. I had a Busa but it was to heavy. I feel my 1000 is just as fast.
yoshi slip on, BMC air filter and a Timing retard eliminator. { that may cause FI light to come on }
TRE switch reduced some of the flat spots
brakes could have been a little better
factory tires di dnot handle well in the curves
overall the bike is def. better than the comp. for that year.
yoshi full system power commander undertail went to 200 on back tire
when you get up to around 5 grand playtime is over it pulls and pulls wnat stop till you say so
brakes feel good and they stop quickly great break system if you ask me
handles great not 600 great but great believe i could have did better in curves if i stayed with the 190 but still works for me
this is the ultimate machine suzuki did their thing on this it handles with the 6 or 750 and has the power to run with the busa anything in its class r1 zx10 honda 1000 dont stand a chance oval track or dragging
It will do 200,I've been 180.I keep running out of road!
stock in regards to performance, otherwise fender eliminator - scotts steering damper, and a freestyle ingenuity crash cage with swingarm spools. and i decided to go with castrol acteevo 10w 40 as my choice of oil.
the power delivery of this bike compared to the other bikes ive driven is ridiculous. One thing to beware of is a cold rear tire thats why i try and keep it low rpms until a mile or 2. (or jus do a quik burnout)
brakes are real nice...but its light for a thousand so braking isn't a problem.
The 1st day i got the bike i decided to open it up right before going to the garage i redlined 1st gear at like 103mph and i almost died as it tank slapped...my friend behind me was seeing my rear tail light going from left to right really fast. in anycase ...the scotts steering damper was one of the best investments. Besides that handles like a dream.
it loves to wheelie!!!! especially with someone on the back.....oh and i almost forgot its a reallly sexy beast.
