Suzuki 2005+ GSXR750 Review

  • Bike: GSXR750 (2005+)
  • Year Of Bike: 2005
  • Miles: 3000
  • Name: Canadian Jim
  • Rating: 9.8

Mods

Full yosh duplex exhaust, Titanium TRS, power commander, k&n filter, galfer stainless brake lines front and rear, michelin power pilots.

Carberation

Stock the bike is soft till 6500-7000, good hit a 9000 and awsome pull 10,500-14000. With mods power starts at aprox 4700 and pulls like crazy all the way to the top.

Brakes

Stock brakes are very good, although a hard ride will have the brakes fading a little. I have found the galfer lines to add a very positive feel.

Handling

Handling is spot on! This bike rocks right out of the box!

Comments

Stock this bike would get a 8.5 out of 10, with the new mods including verrrryyyy sticky power pilots and it gets a 9.8 out of 10. This bike insures with the 600's but will give the liter bike riders a run for there money on the straights and have them wishing their bikes handled like this in the corners.

Carberation

the bike wants to be gotin on around 30 to 40 mph in 1st you can get the font up in 2nd not happenin you will have to slip the clutch to wheelie that bitch in any other gear. as far as power you really need to blast on it! my friend has a 2005 cbr 1000rr and i have to down shift twice to get im when he takes of. over all if your looking for raw power and tourqe go with the gixxer 1000. i wish i did

Brakes

the brakeing on the gixxer is good @ medium speeds around 40 to 80 after 140 and on you should be looking @ late brakeing technics.

Handling

This bike can handle the balence and weight are rite on @ just 365 pounds a good sized person can whip this baby around.
