List the modifications on this bike Stock
The bike is smooth. 1st and 2nd seem a little long winded but the rest of the gears are typical of Suzukis. It has the power to put you on the ground if you don't remember who's the boss...and it isn't you.
Braking is great. Stops on a dime and you get change back...
It handles well.
I'm 6'5"...I would not recommend this bike for tall people. After about an hour my back and arms tell me to take a brake. This bike is still a blast though. Lots of power, torque, speed, and all the glory...
Nothing that changes performance, yet... but so far Airtech LED turn signals(back) LP flushmount IV turn signals (front) competition werkes fender eliminator. chrome/black gas cap decal. Kick ass superwhite headlights. HJC Bike alarm
lots of power, strong running bike.
strong brakes, stop very fast.
handles great, easy to flick and turn
lots of power, uncomfortable as hell though, but hey nothings perfect. i love to ride it cuz i can smoke like anything on the street.
List the modifications on this bike remapped full injection, muzzy full system w/ carbon can, and degreed cams for more mid range. also 1 tooth smaller sprocket up front and polished rims that i did myself.
any flat spots etc. at 3 grand there is a stumble, but who rides at three grand
Feel, Strength very strong
great, it loves to turn. be careful, it loves to wheelie
i went from a 92 gixxer 750 to a 98. this has great power and i haven't even hit it hard through all the gears. i am lookig at the 1000 though. men always want the best, we are never satisfied
Yoshimura RS-3 slip on pipe;second look tank skin
The power is unbeliavable. Nothing but raw horsepower at the twist of the wrist
The brakes can be adjusted for your comfort so it' really all in what you want.s
Makes me feel like I could tackle Laguna Seca.
Get off your R1's , 929's , and ZX-9R's and get 1.
List the modifications on this bike Vance and Hines 4 into 1 with carbon can stage 2 jets
any flat spots etc. Bike has a little stutter at 3 grand, wich can make driving in slow traffic tricky, But has consistant power throughout the R's and at 9 grand will yank your arms out of the sockets.
Feel, Strength Excellent
easy to flick, very nimble
Great overall Bike, ill never buy anything but suzuki
None yet
A little bit of studder down low, but balls out the rest of the way. Great bike for Wheelies. It's my first bike and I do 2nd gears just as long as the guys that have been riding for years.
Good feel very power full great for rolling endos.
Awsome, I put on some race compound tires and she will take on any corner.
Great bike keeps up with the liter bikes no prob. If your lookin for comfort though do not buy it especially if your tall I'm 6'2. It has a very aggresive seating position.
EBC HH Front Brake Pads, One tooth larger on rear sprocket, Power Commander2, Removed all Smog, one heat range cooler spark plug, K&N Filter, Ultra White head lights, turn signal intergrater kit, custom made rear fender, manual timming chain adjuster, Yosh full race, Works performance custom shock and fork springs
With the PC2 I get a small bust at about 3000 RPM, after that it is great power and very smoth. I have only tried one map so far and plan to have one custom mapped once I re-build the top end. I have still been knowen to pick the front tire up in 3rd (it does take a small amount of work)
With the HH pads and the MOTOL 600 fuild, the bike stops on a dime. I can pull a stoppie with just my first finger at just about any speed.
The bike handles good. I am still working out the kinks in the new shock and fork springs. I love the Pilot Sports as long as a run a bit more PSI then in the 207's that I had before.
Over all I really love this bike. I have put over 31,000 miles on it. It still keeps up with my friend 99 750 with all the same work on it (after about 100MPH he starts to pull a small bit on me). It is one of the more rider friendly bikes that I have been on. With a few small changes to the suspension, the bike has held up my 205lbs with out to much of a problem. When I had the stock front springs I changed the fork fuild to a 10wt.
Micron Exaust KN filter KN Power Commander 2
This bike has a ton of power all the way through The pc2 really smoother the throttle response out to give it really good response Very fast bike and very easy to do wheelies
very stable no chatter, and quite strong at high speed
The handling is great, but without a PC2 take it easy on the throttle, because it is very jumpy and you may lose traction in turns if your not careful enough and you give a trottle twist
Over all its a great bike and I love it a lot more then my previous bike. (CBR600 F-2)
Yoshimura Tri Oval dual outlet full titanium system, power commander2 with custom map, texas fairing undertail with clear l.e.d's and turn signals, texas fairing front flushmounts, goodridge kevlar brake lines, vortex rear sets, qb carbon vented front fender, rear hugger, polished wheels, anodised red swingarm, tapeworks graphics, planet cruiser polished racing brake and clutch levers, carbon composite smoke doubble bubble screen, lockhart phillips polished pre load adjusters, scotts steering damper, ferrodo brake pads, pirelli evo's, dynoed at 140 rear wheel horsepower.
With this full yosh system and a custom map, there's evenly distributed power through out the rev range. There's a power surge in 4th that can pull the front up if your not carefull!
The stock units wee ok. With these kevlar lines the stopping power is tremendous. You can pull a stoppie with one finger, any of them!
With the bike set up for your riding style and weight, this bike handles like nothing else out there. you just gotta mess with it and feel it. Good to know someone who knows how to set it up.
As stock, this bike kicks butt. But good luck trying to keep it stock!!! Looks are as big with me as performance is, but with a few tweeks, you can keep up and even smoke some 1000's, r 1's and the other so called "bigger bikes". For this, size does not matter!
List the modifications on this bike Micron can and power command kit
any flat spots etc. None to speak of, a little stutter in first though
Feel, Strength Uncomfortable but well worth the pain. A little touchy in first but who need first.
good in and out of the turns. bad on the back
Well worth the money.
Micron slip-on, LP plasma bulbs, fender eliminator, LED kit
A ton of power through every gear. The front end likes to come up, especially when I crack it coming out of turns. This bike is a powerhouse.
The stock brakes are a bit hard, but very responsive. They saved my ass twice because of deer, so I can't complain.
Handles better than any other bike I've been on.
This thing is a race bike out of the crate. I thought I made a mistake getting the gixxer instead of the R1, but it proves me wrong every time I ride it. I'll take this over anything else out there.
K&N FILTERS STAGE TWO JET KIT YOSHIMURA EXAHUST
IT RUNS PRETTY DAMN GOOD FOR HER AGE IT NEEDS TO BE REEVED A LTTLE ON 3RD GEAR LIKE 3500 OR 4000 OTHERWISE HAS A TENDENCY TO LAG IF NOT
STOPS VERY GOOD NO NIMBLE SENSE AT ALL
BEAUTIFUL BIKE (FOR THE YEAR) HANDLES GREAT ON TURNS AND STRAIGHTWAYS
CANT WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON A 2001

List the modifications on this bike - the bike is bone stock aside from a fesh set of D207's.
any flat spots etc. - I just got the bike and was suprised to see that the carburetion is good stock. For being stock the engine rips, it pulls hard and smooth until about 9 grand and from then on you better hold on.
Feel, Strength - The six pots up front give you great stopping power, the only down side is now i want to wait to break to the last possible second, I know the bike can do it, it's me I'm worried about.
it handles well. it flicks back and forth real easy and the suspension isn't too bad. its a little soft in the rear, but no big deal.
I'm six foot one and weigh 220lbs. If your any bigger than me, ride one before you buy it. You might be a little cramped. don't worry though, you'll get used to it and the bike is definetly worth it.

so far ... Full race Leo Vinci Exhaust with a Carbon canister, Power Commander 2 with a custom map, 5mm triple tree drop, PIAA extreme white bulbs, Eurobikes undertray, Libertek LED "Diamond Lights", tricked Lic Holder, Carbon works carbon gas cap cover, 49 state conversion, Intuitive racing bar/frame/swingarm sliders, Yellow RPM gauge.
With the Full exhaust, I love the new map and the power comes on earlier (6K RPM) . Anything under that doesn't matter - no pull or power.
I don't like the stock brakes. I am currently working on putting a BRAKING wave rotor (front and back) and EBC HH sintered pads on it and Goodridge -2 brakelines. The stock stoppers felt Vague when your trying to run hot into a corner and slam the brakes hard. My other Option is a Ferodo brake system.
After the 5mm triple tree drop, the bike turns at will! It turns faster, tighter and easier. I might drop it another 2mm to maximize the action and change the stock steering damper to an adjustable OHLIN damper or a SCOTTs damper.
I love this Bike! I used to have a 1996 Honda CBR 600F3 and loved it but I needed more power. This bike is a Superbike in disguise, and it should be in top form by the end of this year. Ready to take on trackdays and Canyon runs!

jet kit, d&d exhaust, steelbraided brake lines, racing compoud rear tire, shimmy dampener, ebc kevlar clutch.
The jet kits make it run like crap at low r.p.ms, like 15 m.p.h to 30, its really just studdering, but when you yank the throttle the bike really reacts fast, and when you hit 6,000 r.p.m thats when u really feel the power start kicking in. This bike runs really rich, never leans out or nothing, never had carb problems(they need some tuning now, but there not way off).
I personally do not like the feel of my brakes too much, they feel kinda ackward, but this bike does stop very fast. SO basically the braking is good.
This bike is kinda heavy but it does turn good. Once you get used to this bike, the handling is good.(many people say these gixxers handle bad, but i like it)On the highway it is nice and steady, and at around 140 m.p.h its still very stable, really nice balanced bike, if you let go of the handle bars you can stay straight for quite a while. THe suspension(atleast on mine) should be "tightened" a bit, ofcource depends on your style. This bike grips farely well in wet weather. Overall od say it has good handling. (dosent take bumps too nice)
This bike is very uncomfortable but im used to it. This is my first big bike (i used to ride dirt bikes), im 17 and im gonna be 18 soon. Ive had the bike about 1 year and 5 months. NOw i am really used to the bike so my back dosent hurt no more after long trips, and moving it around is easy now(its heavy). This bike is very reliable, never given me a serious problem. has never refused to turn on. I take it to school everyday, and hit the highway often, but no problems. I only recomend as a starter bike if u have experience on something similar( like dirt bikes). Takes getting used to, but you will learn fast. (i was forced to take the safet cource to get my bike license)(let me tell u, i had ridden this for 6 months before going to the cource, and those people didnt teach me too many new things, all i learned was positioning your wrist so it dont hurt after a while). All around id say this is an awesome bikes ( and it takes out alot of newer bikes>)
i actually own this bike, and i absolutely love it, ok so midrange power is just o.k., but keep it above 8500 and you are the king of the road..light and powerful. the perfect combination. i would like to see it in a gixxer 1000 rearend setting with the black paint scheme, i think its too much white in the back, especially when you want to add an underkit, it just looks too innocent.... overall, a great bike, couldnt ask for more from suzuki...great job....aaron
flat spots between 3500-6000. carburation is spottless..
awesome, the best out there by far...
when you get the thing going, you can toss it around like a toy... always asking for more than you can give it.
i love this bike
Stock Standard
Touchy throttle/response turning out of sharp corners which you have to be careful of but on the straights it sings right through the entire rev range. Really starts to boogie once ya hit the 9k mark though and the bike loves every bit of it....
As good as you can expect from stock units. I warped the front rotors which suzuki replaced under warranty so my experience may not be the norm.
I'm almost 6 foot and the riding position is pretty much SuperSports, you put your weight over the front end and the bike turns into corners with no effort at all. Stable over the bumps (the stock stearing dampner works wonders)- I had to tighten up the front fork pre-load a bit but I'm totally happy with the whole package...
If you like to rev your bike hard, then this is the ultimate machine for you - the harder you push, the more impressed you are with awesome power, handling and overall performance. 3rd gear on this (stock gearing) is unbelievable, easy to cruise around in traffic and powerfull enough at the twist of the wrist to take any other vehicle on the road.
Full Hindle High exit exhaust, TRE modification, Techlusion Fuel computer, racing brake pads, braided lines, computer re-mapped and a bunch of cosmetic upgrades!
Fuel injection is great on a stock 750, but once you make exhaust upgrades - you HAVE to get it re-mapped, or buy a Power Commander (flats spots appear). Power is great, nice and smooth throughout the rev range; at about 5k rpm you can really feel it pull up to 13k rpm! With a bit of exhaust work has no problem keeping up with R1's (at highway speeds). 2nd gear clutch wheelies are hard for some reason, clutch doesn't grab hard enough.....so just do power ones in 2nd gear instead!
stock brakes are adequate, initially - but once they heat up (i.e. at a hot track day) the brakes fade big time! Buy some braided lines and race pads for it if you plan to ride it hard. Other than that brakes feel great on the street, very responsive (good for rolling endos!)
Handles sweet! Nice and smooth, even in rough corners (even with your knee down); the OEM dampener makes a HUGE difference over other bikes (i.e R6's, F4's, f4I's, ZX-7's and R1's) when turning and even riding straight. The riding position is agressive, but that makes you feel so much more confident and in control when going into corners really hot. I've rode friends bikes (R6's, F4's RC51 F4I's), none feel as stable when riding straight, or through turns. Bike feels heavier than R6's etc., but handles like a dream; you feel like you're sitting 'inside' the bike, not on top!. After you get more experienced, the suspension seems too soft - no matter how much you increase the: pre-load, rebound and compression...Buy some after market springs & change the fork oil.
I'm not that tall (5'10"), and i have a really bad back, but i can ride for hours without needing to stop, even with the agressive seating position. This is my first bike, and after buying, i rode some of my friends bikes (R6, F4, F4I, RC51), NONE feel as comfortable as the 750, none feel as stable. It has a wide tank; which turns some riders off - I love it! When you're on the bike, you feel like you're sitting "in" it, not like other bikes where you feel like you're "on top". Even a small thing like the seat is 10x better than any other sportbike out there (other than another Gixxer of course!). The bike eats through tires though..It might be because of the increased power (and i've gone through many brands of tires, the result is the same). Great bike: nimble, light, powerfull what more could you ask for?...Maybe a Gixxer 1000! (which i'm buying!). Any questions? E-mail me: sweet2bad@hotmail.com
List the modifications on this bike, Flush mount blinkers and taillight intergration. Ordering a full Yosh Exhaust system soon.
This bike has more power than needed stock. But you can make it ridiculously fast very easy. Shifting is silky smooth and fuel injection is best in class.
This machine stops on a dime.
Best part of this bike is arguably the handling. Fells like it is on rails. The harder you push it the better it handles.
Best money I have ever spent. If you want a bike that runs like a liter bike but cost less then the GSXR750 is your baby. Shop around for a left over 2002. Only difference is color. I picked mine up for $8100.00 Happy hunting and Enjoy!!!!

any flat spots etc. Fuel injection very good but a little bit touchy from off to on, need to keep a little bit of throttle on all the time and ease it to stop any switchiness. Starts to get a move on around 7500rpm, then takes off at 10000rpm, but surprise there's one last burst at 12500rpm to keep you smiling! Makes awesome power for a 750 nothing comes close. 9/10
Feel, Strength Brakes are soft, takes a lot of lever travel before any real power comes in. Does stop well but doesn't feel very good doing it. Brakes fade when riding hard on the road. On the track the brakes are only good for 10-15 minutes before you're pulling the lever all the way to the bars to get it slowed down. 6/10
The steering damper slows down the steering considerably. Makes it hard work through slower corners and changes of direction. Everywhere else nothing can touch you, incredibly stable and will lean forever and ever. Have only scraped the peg once and rolled off the back tyre doing it and had a big slide. Had one other big slide going fast and hit some gravel leaned over, thought I was dead but the gsxr just wriggled and got back on with the job. You feel absolutely invincible on this bike. 9/10
A very confidence inspiring bike. Good power and the delivery allows you to switch between sensible mode (stay a gear or two up and between 5000-7000rpm) or full attack mode (go for it and keep her above 10000 revs!) If you put in the effort with this bike you could keep up with anything else on the road. It may not have mega horsepower but there's till plenty there and it's much more user friendly than the litre bikes.
DID 520 Chain. Aluminum Rear sproket up one tooth, Air Filter, Full Devil Shotgun exhuast. TRE, Emmisions Pair vavlve removal, 6 piston Front calipers from a 2002 GSXR-1000, all steel lines Mapped/
My bike was dyno'd at 144 REAR WHEEL HP. It has a wet weight of 409 lbs. It moves. and very quickly. The low RPM's were helped a lot by the TRE. but at 4100 RPM I lay down 91 hp. On a hard acceleration The front will reach for the sky, and in 2nd it will eaisly throttle up and in 3rd will clutch up. Great handling. Supurb power. Takes some getting used to, little weight and lots of power. Comparable to a STOCK 2002 R1 ( my cousin has one and has me beat by 5hp but some extra weight ) great bike!!
The GSXR 1000 6-piston front calipers made a world of difference. can bring you to a dead stop with your pinky...
went to a 190 in the rear. helped to stop the tire from breakng on hard cold acceleration
Power commander, K&N Filter, Harris carbon can, Braided hoses, HH Sintered front pads, Carbonne Lorraine rear pads, Billet cam chain tensioner, Metzeller Rennsports, Double Bubble screen, Mini indicators with clear lense
Fuelling is still a bit notchy i.e. on off throttle control at low revs, tho warp factor kicks in around the 7 grand mark and the fun begins. Pulls hard up to the limiter in first 5 gears. Floats easily in 1st and 2nd.
Brakes were ok as standard, but Goodridge hoses, Castrol Response fluid, and EBC HH sintered pads, made the difference like night and day ! 2 fingers stops it from flat in top, tho the front end needed more damping.
What can I say... Its a gixxer. Out turns and out brakes my mates R1.
U can have all the horsepower u want, but can u put it down on the ground ? I'd stick this bike up against anything :-) U can see this bike and the R1 at, http://driftnslide.tripod.com
M4 Full kit, Attack Rearsets, rebuilt and revalved suspension, dropped the forks, raised the tail, steering damper (gotta have one) slightly touched up motor, braided lines, perf friction pads
Flat spot at 8500-9000 which seems to get worse as I try to get power out of it - they all have it, but as the power gos up the dip goes down. The pipe didn't help either, but did boost the low end (it boosted it at 8500 too, just not as much) Really, who lets one of these rev that low?
I can do a stoppie for miles - no faid, never and easily modulated
F***, takes some getting used to :) You think, maybe I'll turn and suddenly you're there.
I got a new bike but this one is still my favorite. It'll pull with most of the liter bikes (just not my new 03 1K) and out steer any of them. I am looking forward to getting the 03 set up as well, but the weight doesn't quite seem to be there, I am hoping the frame and swingarm will make up for it. (only issue, the tranny - what a POS - the new parts still are crap, 03 is much better feeling, let's see how she lasts) All in all, this bike is sweetness defined, still one of the best sport bikes ever produced. The only possible competition is the R6 and GSXR1000.

List the modifications on this bike Only different brake lines, pads (dunlop sdh), and dubble bubble. Will receive some more small stuf soon.
There is a curve in power when you accelerate from the corners, but kicking it back at 180 kph to second rev it up to 12000 rpm, then kick it back to third rev it up to 12k rpm and keep doing that till the next turn comes up. Will receive a small modification soon to get some of the power curve out. Top speed will almost never be driven therefore best mod will be 1 tooth down for front sprocket.
Original parts are not up to the work for the track, unless you want to get a lot of cheers from the spectators, bad for lap times.... Replaced these with steeled hosses and sdh (dunlop) race pads, now that's working great. Different disks are also a must, the standard ones are not very good for racing, gets to warm I gues LOL
Fantastic, brilliant, best thing ever, at Valencia, fireblade could keep up but that was it, and big brother is in a class of its own... But this bike can do some damage to ego's. Even 95% standard this bike really rocks. You can brake into corners like nothing else, and it makes stoppies like hell. Need to work on the front suspension, 3cl of more 10w oil helps alot but race suspensions are better. Depends on the track each time again.
Great bike, real love over and over again, and it handles great.

any flat spots etc.slight off idle delay, hardly noticable. FLAWLESS FROM 1200 rpm up.serious power, power seems to back off around 13000rpm, but just enough to let you know that you need to shift
very controlled braking, will get you out of trouble in a hurry, great feel, will let you know when to back off, almost like the front end is talking to you. takes a couple GOOD pulls to get them into prime opperating temp.
great handling, much quicker turn in with rear raised[with washer], stock, handles great, VERY STABLE IN HIGH SPEED STRAIGHTS[150+MPH] and corners[115-125]. not as prescise handling as new 600s but if you can put out the extra effort in the tight stuff they had better just move over in the sweepers.
awsome bike, massive power, great handling, great looks durable plastic, front end plastic[headlight, nose &wind screen] have been hit by two diffrent birds, one on wind screen at 120mph[slight scratch]another right below windscreen where it says suzuki,[at least thats where all the blood was] at 140mph. not a single scratch!! lucky? comfort? not really. avoid long rides if you have back or wrist problems,if you can take good brakes, it ok. seat is nice ,bottom line on comfort, it may be rough getting there[the twisties] but once you do that wholoe race ergonomics thing will really make sense to you, and the bike will really feel at home

Love the power. Had an R6 before and Ill never go back.
Braking is good.
I love the handeling. Much better the the R6.
Piped and jetted.....my cousins bike
fairly bad flat spot low down about 3000 or so, otherwise makes good power and pulls decent wheelies.
good brakes and strong feel.
These bikes handle well....and are quite confidence inspiring if set up correctly.

WoW- think to turn, go to do it and its done. lean her all the way over and she loves it.
even though shes old, she still screams, this is my first sport bike but i see more in my future
Zero gravity windscreen, undertail section w/ integrator, full yoshamira T-oval exhaust, Power Commander 3R, and BMC air filter.
love the power and handling, throttle response this there when you need it.

Great in the corners, a little touching coming out of the corners.
Great bike recommend for everybody.

Feel, Strength
great
List the modifications on this bike yoshimura full race titanium duplex pipe, k&n filter, powercommander IIIr, fender eliminator kit and dark zero gravity windscreen
any flat spots etc. I've only ridden with pwr cmdr and pipe, so I can't speak for stock performance. With my 016 mapping and pipe power delivery is pretty dip free, but this 750 is competitive with certian bigger bikes in peak power, so the side effect is little low end and midrange power. Always having to rev high to impress can get old, but that depends on how you feel at the moment!
Feel, Strength Pretty good, but a little bit mushy.
Very stable at speed(steering damper?)and corners well and suspension is better than my fzr6(who woulda guessed?)but I've never pushed to the limit so I don't have all the details.
Aggressive riding position, but hey you get a little used to it and thats what happens when you have the quickest, fastest, lightest and possibly the best looking 750 that makes you smile when someone with an R1 wants to race you!
I have a 1996 GSXR 750 that i bought a couple of months ago , im a young driver at the age of 17 but do respect the power of the bike because it had alot of this and can be bad if you dont use it right. in order to be safe on a bike you need to know what your doing and obey the rules. I know you have to have some fun on it but the only smart time to do this is when on the highway when nothing else is around and ya might wanna open it up a bit more to see what it got. This is my second bike, i currently owned a magna750 , it was a huge step becuase of the performance power and acceleration. Ive been riding for 3 years now and i consider myself as a good rider, altho i dont know a whole lot about the mechanics of motorcycles but i am learning.
the bike has a hell of alot of power, it can lift up so easily with the roll of the throttle, you really need to know the limits of the bike and when it starts to rise.
Feels really good, i use about 80% front and 20% back. it stops fairly quick.
Very well indeed, more ability to menuever around things such as holes in the road and other objects.
This is a very nice bike, i recomend any rider who likes the sporty look and speed to get this bike!! but know what your doing!
List the modifications on this bike Scorpion Bolt-on, TRE, fender eliminator
any flat spots etc. None noticed as I am in upper rpm at track days.
Feel, Strength Awesome brakes With track use they wear out just like other race replicas style bike's brakes. A simple change in pads and your back in business.
Awesome handling (stock). Once you have your settings down for your body weight you will definitely kick butt. Front suspension will have to be fiddled with if your over 160pounds though as it is hard to get the sag down with that weight.
Doesn't take prisoners. Except for the gsxr1000, this is the bike I would get. For a track bike I would DEFINITELY get this over the 1000 (has enough power). You will embarrass alot of liter bikes if you have the rider skills and this bike makes it that much easier to do so.
List the modifications on this bike Ohlins front internals, ohlins rear piggyback, yosh upper & lower trippleclamps, full muzzy Titanium exhaust.,ohlins steering dampener, & flatslide carbs.Brembo floating disks
any flat spots etc.No flat spots. Runs way too rich with flatslides for street use.
Feel, Strength Immediately responsive with braided steel lines. Brembo Rotors noisy and annoying, but work well.
Generally same as stock, tripple clamps help up front, but not $640 worth of difference. Money could be spent better on aspiration.

AMAZING! Gixxer 1000 riders, tes it's 750 in your mirrors, but not when you get to a bend, there it goes!

I have an '88 750 with an 1127 motor bolted in. It is FAST and a really wild ride! Anyone out there have a set of used front rotors that would fit my bike? ('88-92). I would be interested in buying them if they aren't warped. Please email me at athomas23@cogeco.ca
Constant power.....no flat spots
not good right now...........looking for front rotors
Great
No mods yet, except for fender eliminator. Ordered the MIG high mount slip-on for it though.
Power is really good, especially when the tach sweeps past the 8,000 RPM mark. Tons of pull up high. Carburetion is really smooth, only about a half dozen times have i felt a small stutter around 3-4,000RPM's, and thats when i'm gettin on it in the canyons in East Phoenix.
The stock brakes aren't much to write home about, compared to other superbikes in this year. As soon as i upgrade to steel-braided, and changed the pads, i expect the feel and power to be much better.
Handles awesome, once set into a turn properly, the bike just bites, and doesn't let go until the apex.
Love the bike, its my first bike, and I've had it since August of '03, and its hasn't given me any problems, except for when i downed it about 2 weeks ago. No prob though, not totalled, and no frame damage, so i'll be back on it when my collar bone is healed!
List the modifications on this bike. Well this bike has it all. It's got the same power as say a 1000cc bike with the handaling and agility od a 600. Its a four cylinder 16-valve liquid cooled monster. 6-speed 4 stroke fuel injected animal all I couls say when I took it for a spin was wow.
any flat spots etc. No flat spots on this bike. Like I said this bike is fuel injested allowing a better mixture to the bikes in take allowong this bike to fly at the seat of your pants.
Feel, Strength The feel of this bike is wonderful. It's dual hydrolic disk brakes in front allow for a smooth stopping sense that makes it enjoyable even to stop.
This bike turns on a dime like i said befor that this bike is wide in front but you don't even feel it once your gone.
Stock
Power is tremendous.... unlike anything else. Hold on or you'll lose the bike
Good brakes... my other '03 sometimes shakes when i brake hard... maybe I needed to adjust them?
Handles awesome, confidence inspiring
Pulled up to a streetlight and an R1 rolls next to me. We both take off and I win. I ask the guy how long he's been riding and he tells me 5 years. I've been riding 5 weeks. nuff said.
Full Yosh Stainless RS3 Zyclone system. (wicked sounding exhaust for being the quieter system!!) It sounds so beefy. K&N air filter, Factory jet kit for a stage 2 setup. EBC HH Sintered brake pads, all goodridge steel braided lines, 180/55 rear tire swap-out, 520 chain conversion with sprockets (16T front and 44T rear), fender eliminator with smaller slightly hidden under tail blinkers, and aftermarket steering damper (Scotts).
No flat spots unless you drone on the freeway for a bit and then maybe once in awhile if you just want to roll on the throttle it might give a slight hesitation. But only very brief. The power of this bike is pretty awesome. I have taken on R1's, 929RR's, any 600's, and none of them have either beaten me or I have just simply dusted them in an outright speed contest. Control of power on this bike is confidence inspiring to be true, but it just goes so damn fast for what it is. I own much of the miles on this machine, and have had no problems with power ever.
Once I had upgraded to EBC HH Sintered pads, and steel lines by Goodridge... let's just say "one finger pull" for outright awesome braking power!
handling on this bike is super confidence inspiring. I have definitely ridden this bike to its limits with no problems in terms of lateral force. For the generation of these bikes, they're just something that was ahead of their time. I can only imagine the newer ones are just that much better. Just amazing stability, and flicks so well. Feels like a big 600.
I love this bike, and although I plan to get a new Gixxer 750, or maybe... (keywords- "maybe") a Gixxer 1000. But I am not sure about the need to go to a 1000 ever since Suzuki has made the damn thing throw down a whopping 130hp at the tire stock!!! Not to mention far superior FI systems and ECU management, chassis, etc, etc... I can't wait until I can afford one. I plan on keeping my 96' though. Just can't justify getting rid of it. It's fantastic! What more can I say?
Full RS-3 Carbon Fiber exhuast, and rejetted. Nothin to much for it.It doesnt really need anything else. Its a great bike, i love to get it in to second and third gear so much acceleration.
IT runs great for having 20000 miles on it. I need to get the vavles relashed for a more smoother feel.
THe braking is the best, it stops on a dime.
handling is good the weight is low to the ground so it feels werid to me , like i am going to fall over but it wont.
None
Fairly linear, no real hit until the top (10-11k plus). Very controllable. A little blubber off the bottom end.
Strong, but out of balance.
Rock solid first 1/3 of steering range. Gets twitchy much quicker after that.
I just picked this bike up for $2500.00. It was laid down on the right side to the tune of some minro scratches, a cracked upper fairing (not that noticable) and a pipe scuff. I changed the oil, replaced the battery, checked out the tires/brakes and just got back from my first ride. Nice...This being my first sportbike, I was struck by a couple things. First, the acceleration of my 1999 YZ400f is much more brutal. The 750 just does not have the torque I thought it would have. Second, this feels like the safest bike I have ever ridden on the road. I feel very connected to the road, and the combination o on tap, instant power and the handling make me feel much less vulnerable with cars buzzing around. Third, my damn back hurts. I have to practice the 'buttocks out' position a bit more or start doing more back extensions at the gym. Fourth, the arch of my foot hurts from riding with a running show on. Yet another reason to get the right gear. I'll be ordering something from motonation soon. All in all, I thinkk I got an very capable bike for a song.

Very powerful and jerky. Takes some getting used to.
Very good
Unbelievably balanced and nimble. Very easy to control.
This is a great bike. Its very light and powerful. This in not a starter bike. I had two 600cc Sportbikes(CBR, FZR) before this one and there is really no comparison. This bike is lighter, faster, and much more powerful. Riding position is much more forward and takes getting used to.

over a dozen maps in my collection for diffent use. Flats spots in most of track maps, at low rpm's. Street maps are near perfect, since nothing is ever complete.
Endo's with a single digit. Stock rotors are my fav, as the only setup that has consistant braking.
Ohlins suspension, 1 min, 13 sec flat at Louden, need I say more?
This is my favorite bike, as it has the power of a stock liter bike, yet the control, and weight of a 600 class. Easier to stunt on Sundays than the smaller bike (due to power), yet will take most street riden liter out on the track. If I got the power closer to 175hp, then I would give it a 10, so I'm dropping a 9.5 on her. Sorry. Bike is for sale if anyone is interested. Email wyckoffjustin@yahoo.com for pics/info.

power on this bike is awesome everything about it is just right, mid range to top end is great.
brakes are good now but it will get better with s.steel braided lines.
very nimble and easy to handle it would get better with a ohlins damper and rear shock
look out liter bikes the '04 750 gixxer is better than ever
Double exhaust high mount Devil...LED turn signal in the back...
It have some power...
Good braking...love'em specially front brakes for stoppies
very nice to handle
Is a really good bike but next year or the next I'll need to upgrade I'll need more power...
zero gravity wind screen, tank protector to match paint, lp carbon fiber frame sliders w/ billet end caps, swing arm sliders same type,k&n air filter, two brothers full exhaust system,5-10-10 remap, flush mount clear blinkers up front, clear tail light w/ directional blinkers built in (all LED)custom undertail.
W/ THE EXCEPTION OF THE BUSA ON THE STRAIGHTAWAYS,THE 04 R1 AND THE 10R,I HAVE BLOWN THE FAIRINGS OFF OF EVERYTHING ELSE. VERY TIGHT IN THE CORNERS,VIRTUALLY NO WAG. EXCELLENT HP/LB.WELL BALANCED. W/ THE RIGHT RIDER THE 750'S WILL DEVISTATE ALMOST ANY NEW LITER BIKE. THE BEST PERFORMING BIKE I HAVE EVER RIDDEN.
DECENT STOCK BRAKES,I WILL CHANGE TO BRAIDED AND EBC PADS.
HANDLES LIKE A 600 W/ THE POWER OF A LITER BIKE
EVERYONE SHOULD OWN/RIDE ONE AT LEAST ONCE IN THEIR LIFE.
List the modifications on this bike, Ignition advance, Stage 1 jets, Full exhaust, down 1 tooth on front sprocket.
The bike is set up great. It grunts off the line, keeps the front tire up a few inches through 1st 2nd and sometimes 3rd.
Brakes are good enough for around town
For me the it is a blast. Passing your buddies on bikes that should be running circles around you is the best
It's heavey for people that are used to new bikes but I lve my old gixxer. It has that clasic appeal to it. I still dog the ZX6-RR in the straits all day so (Joe blow) says it's slow old and heavey but it is solid and still fast as hell.

NO flat spots whatsoever! This guy runs smooth all the way up to redline...that's the gixxer's cliam to fame. POWER!
Good, could be a bit tougher for all that speed but you can always adjust.
Handling is great, not like cbr, or r6 but good.
This is the big dog! If you want power, torque, and speed, this is the bike to have, if not....look at a r6 or cbr for handling and cornering and all that safety stuff. This bike is pure adenaline for all the thrill seekers. A true power monster, can probably take the r1,zx9r and 929 if the rider knows what he's doing!
Full yoshi exhaust/headers, kn air filther
power band in excellent. power comes on very strong at about 6900 r's. one has to be somewhat careful when existing out because to much twist will allow quick flight of the front wheel. i went down one tooth on the stock front sprocket to allow better traffic management in the city also helps in the curves in the canyons, allows sustained 5th gear exists.
brakes like an anchor and a chain to a speed boat. when you apply it replies instantly. noticed very little if any fade. stock brakes worked just fine, i'm about 210lbs and its always stopped me nicely. when extreme braking have to pay attention the rear end coming around to see the front end but all bikes i've ridden will do that.
i have ridden many european moto's being stationed in italy for 18 years total. this bike is one that i would call a sleeper. it will keep pace with the l liter's, but will seriously hurt you too if your not paying attention. i have run by the l liters on the angeles crest hwy (california) like they were standing and i've had them go by me, but i've always remembered that this bike is way more capable then the average store bought ride is, so if you own one drive to your limits but always try to leave a little reserve for those 'interesting moments'.
when i first bought this bike i read an article about "first bikes", i now have changed my mind about a gsxr as a first bike.....buy a honda or yamaha......these are not for beginners.....they should come with a warning label that says, "if your a first time rider and you buy me, remember your first time with the opposite sex...exactly...your going to drop'em.

power all the way to redline . liter bikes better beware this 750 is on the same level.
awesome feel . with s/s would just get even better.
toss thing around and it begs for more . light nimble get it over on it's side and it just stay there.suzuki out did it's self !
this is my very first bike . and I'm glad i picked this one. just enough power and handling a novice like me could handle at this point . evry one should start on a gsxr750 don't waste time on any 600. stays with any liter bike on the twisty .

nothing compares to the smooth solid thrust and the strong throw back at 8 g. (FUEL INJECTION IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO)

its like riding on a cloud. a very very fast cloud.
very strong runner defenatly is a good bike. Ive had a few bikes and nothing compares to a gixxer
Dark Smoke Suzuki Windscreen, Carbon Fiber Everything!
Power is not an issue, it has more than enough for any level of rider. High RPM ridin is nothing that you can explain. Ths sound is so SWEET, and the PULL is so amazing that it scares me every time. Be easy comin out of corners though!
0-60 in 1 sec. Stock brakes arent bad at all.
Handles like a 600 and pulls like a Busa!
If ya want the perfect mix of power and handling the GSXR 750 is perfect.
Full Yosh exhaust, ECU reprogram, Port/polish, full balance, >>Direct port nitrous system from NOS<< also stainless brake lines and wave rotors.
The power is HUGE on this bike when the NOS kicks in. Just last weekend I beat my buddy on his '04 R1...after he said some bullshit about missing 4th gear and I laughed in his loser face.
The brakes are great. It had the brake upgrade when I bought it so I don't know about stock. I'm still trying to get the rolling stoppie down (I've only been riding for 3 months)
I love the bike. Every time I come out of a corner I want to turn around, go back and hit it faster. I feel like a damn good rider when I'm on this bike even though I'm not that great.
I wanted more power than a 600 for my first bike because I wasn't going to spend 7K on a bike then get tired of it 2 months later. ( I didn't want to kill myself on a 1000 though ) GIXXER 750 is my bike for years to come.
Arrow Carbon End Can K+N air filter Yoshimura Engine management reprogram Goodridge braided brake lines (front) EBC HH brake pads Yosh frame sliders Bridgestone BT- 012 tires.
The remapping is necessary for delivery in the lower rpm range if you do any mods to exhaust. After this is done, it is flawless throughout. No flat spots, linear as hell. ((from Yosh... +5 lower, +5 mid, 0 high rpm's. )) That is how I settled on fueling after tinkering with it a few times.
After those mods... ONE finger stoppies... enough said on power. Feel is superb, although I did have to get the lines bled and refilled a few times, to maintain a tight feel. Decent power in stock trim, but stock pads will lose feel after a half hour or so of hard riding.
GSXR-750 chassis... what the hell do you think? SUPERB Although Suzuki could have done a better job with tire selection on this bike... If they weren't obligated to use Dunlop... I wore out the D-207's in about 2700 miles. And replaced with Bridgestone BT - 012's... Cheaper, better feel, stickier, better feedback... and cheaper... BETTER. Once you replace the stock tires.. there's no stopping this machine.
There basically is no more 750cc class, (all competition destroyed) therefore a lot of these things are being hawked out the door for DIRT cheap prices. That doesn't make them any less of a good bike... It makes them a bargain. And (in canada anyway,) The bike is technically 749cc's and therefore qualifies for the lower insurance bracket in with the 600's. A bloody supreme deal... This was my second GSXR-750 as I owned a '99 as well... Like it a lot... highly recommended. It received the "sportbike of the year" award in '02 so there are quite a few solid people out there who agree with my assessment of this bike. Perhaps the best upgrade they did over previous GSXR's is the overall precision... By that I mean... Instead of feeling like a corvette or camero... It felt like a Porsche or highend BMW. the gearbox is like dipping your toe into warm butter. The fueling (even before mods) was vastly improved and not as choppy. More linear delivery... The bike isn't even necessarily more powerful... but the chassis and overal refinement makes it even faster than previous models.
akrapovic titanium slip-on bmc performance air filters power commander3 and 2 teeth larger rear titanium sprocket
power is smooth and plentiful if you want to pull a wheelie at 110mph not a problem.makes my friend on his new 750gsxr feel like a girl!
braking is very solid, stoppies come often and easy
handles like a dream have never been out cornered
makes all you guyes on 750s and 600s wish you wouldn't have bought a little girls bike and stepped up to a 1000!
Powder coated frame, swingarm, wheels (black). Yohimura full duplex pipe, Yoshimura stage 1 cams with adjustable sprockets. Yoshimura rear sets. yoshimura clip ons. Yoshimura tripple clamp.Fox shock. Ohlins forks. Braking wave rotors. Stainless steel brake lines fr/r. Diablo Super Corsa S1 front/S2 rear. 520 chain conversion. NRC crash covers. Solo seat pad. Carbon fiber front fender and air tubes. Stage 2 jet kit w/MJR needles. K&N air filter.
Pulls like it's never going to run out of RPM. Shorter gearing is wonderful, keeps it always in the powerband. Cams make a huge difference in rideability. A good jet kit and pipe really wakes up the bike. I recommend a Duplex Yohimura pipe.
Stock brakes were good. Upgrading to stainless lines improves feel. Upgrading to wave rotors makes braking a 1000 times better.
Put a set of Diablo Super Corsa's on the bike and ride it like you stole it. Suspension stock is to soft. Recommend a re-valve and springs for front. Replace rear shock with something good, like a Fox or move up to something much better (Ohlins).
Outstanding motorcycle for a seasoned rider. Not for a newbie! In the right hands this machine is a percision scalpel, in the wrong hands it's a trip to the ER.
Hot bodies undertail, sportech windscreen, Micron race pipe, k&n filter
lack of low end but not much time is spent there anyway, viscious power at the high rev, im 6'2 and this bike will try and lift me off the ground at 800 like im not even on it and trying to hold it down.
real strong braking, quick and responsive, little light on back end under hard braking, but all in all very quick to get planted
very tight and lays over nicely, you can really throw yourself on the bars and make it get down quick
all in all a great bike, more than 5 pounds crammed into in a 2 pound bag. not much can keep up with it and its fun to run alone at the front
Yoshi RS-3. Otherwise she's stock.
A bit of a flat spot at 3k and again just below 4k. Nothing you can't handle.
Motherlessly potent but still very predictable.
Took me a while to get the suspension tweaked for my weight, but now it's sweet. She handles quick enough to throw you if you're not on top of your game.
This is an awesome bike! Have never ridden a more modern version, but if it's any thing like this... Wow! All hail the mighty Gixxer!
It's all you will ever need baby!
