Carberation

Working on this... Last time I was on this was 94-95. It broke on top, but I was a novice then, and no mechanics or ANYTHING. Looking at it now, I think it needs a full DYNO run and tune.

Brakes

Slap the frontend down! Pass anything you feel like it. Nothing better than chasing down ZX7s and CBRs at NHIS in 1994! One piston calipers seem to do the trick as the two pistons the following year didn't seem to work. I was thinking about R6 or FZR600 calipers, but I don't need them really.

Handling

Back in the day (man I feel old at 29!) I was able to go in the blue "fast" group at Loudon Road Race Series/GP Pro at NHIS and the Yellow group (med) at Bridgehampton, NY. Stock... stock trim... This actually it sucked. I bottomed out in top gear at Bridehampton always turn1 slamming the bike and fairings. Of course that helped me later on in my career because I never had a good handling bike. Just keep it pinned and ride it out.

Today...1/20/04 the bike is going through at FULL RESTORE-REBUILD. The bike is down to the bare frame and we (team, not me) are finishing the mounting of the bodywork. When done (this spring), what I am intending to do is make a 400cc GP bike for me to "retire" on :) This will be my wekeend play-toy bike. Braaaaaaap! Still miss my 250....
