D&D end can, stage one tune
Smooth linear power delivery. A little flat with end can fitted in midrange, but rejetting fixed problem with no worries: sounded bloody gorgeous
Plenty of feel and power, though I reckon FZR 1000 brakes are better.
Change settings to suit asap. Two up touring no problem or scratchin' with the newer roadrockets.
Best bike i've owned overall, but some bastard stole it ten days after mods were made.
Corbin Seat, D&D slip-on and that's about it. This bike doesn't really need anything else. This is the best bike I have ever owned. Plenty of power and lightweight. Midrange seems endless! This bike handles excellent! The breaks are good. I don't feel cramped up on this bike like I feel on the R1. The bike burns some oil.
any flat spots etc.
Feel, Strength
List the modifications on this bike: none this bike is bone stock! But dynoed at 119 HP at the rear wheel 5500 feet elevation. not to shabby!
any flat spots etc.excellent
Feel, Strength very good but will replace stock lines with stainless when they wear out
almost as good as my 98 600r but can get a little head shakie from time to time but not a serious problem. I'm working on tuning it out with the suspension adjustments.
Great bike overall! stock dunlop d-204's suck. long distance comfort& range are good, 47 mpg ave. somtimes "hides" oil but has responed better to 20-50WT,than 20-40.
Just some dekals
Very clean carburation and kind of linear powerdelivery. Best i have had. I have had: GSX750 -80, FJ1100 -84, VF1000F -84, CB1100F -85, VF500F2 -88 and now a ZX6R -00
Perfect. Good feel and good efect. The R1 still uses the same..
A litle bit heavy compared to my ZX6R, otherwise rocksteady-with luggage also at 260km/t :) (speedo)
Best iv had-got stolen on holiday!!!
V+H Slip on....
Gobs and gobs of power but wathc out will break loose on ya in the turns...
Brakes have good feedback, mine are still stock but they stop pretty well for a bike its size..
Handles extremely well, can"t complain,
This bike is great for long distance as well as in the city, for me, more fun than my last bike (96 Gixxer).
