FOR SALE: 2002 SUZUKI GSXR 1000. $7900.00 This bike was used for AMA Superbike racing and no expense has been spared in its building and maintenance. I have invested more than $30,000 in this bike with all the extras (listed below). I used this bike to set the all time mileage record for the Daytona 200 so it also has historical value attached. KWS Motosports (known best for the outstanding performance of Shawn Higby) professionally built the motor. The motor dyno�ed out at 175 hp. On VP MR9 fuel. She was clocked at 186 mph (at Daytona). This motor is serviced after every race (valve adjustment/cam chain/oil and filter/clutch/etc.) I have always used top of the line Spectro oil and engine ice, as a coolant (never has had water in the radiator). In three seasons the bike has only had one DNF due to mechanical failure (broken clutch cable). The bike has been over twice. One lowside at Daytona at about 50 mph. And a trip into a gravel trap at Road Atlanta at about 80 mph. The Road Atlanta crash caused a minor scratch to the frame up by the air intake (see picture) that can be easily polished out. The frame has been checked by GMD/Computrack and is straight and true. The fiberglass bodywork (2 full sets) is in good shape but shows the signs of 3 seasons of racing. The tank has some bondo and could use a decent paint job. However, I have all the original body work, gas tank, ram air ducts, exhaust system, lights, wheels, faring mount, rear frame sub-section with no miles. This stuff is virgin. As the bike sits, it has 16.5� Marivac wheels (2 rear and one front). The rear suspension has a MTW Racing, WSB spec rear link (this eliminates the raising rate passenger bump) along with a Hyper Pro shock (with high and low speed adjustments). The front suspension has been re-valved and serviced by Computrack. The steering damper is one of the new tricked out Hyper Pro units. A Dyno Jet Power Commander controls the EFI. The system has been serviced only by Dyno Jet factory trackside support. The combination of pistons, cams, pipe and mapping make the bike very easy to ride. There is an abundance of mid-range power that tracts very smoothly out of a corner. It also has exceptional �over-rev� built into the mapping. This bike will make a perfect track day/street bike combo. The specifics of the equipment: Engine: J/E piston kit, cams, ported/polished head, serdi valve job, Carillo rods, Falicon clutch hub, under cut transmission, Micron Exhaust, Vortex Dyno cover. Frame: Computrack alignment and front fork kit, Hyper Pro rear shock, WSB rear link, Goodrich brake lines, Graves faring stay and rear sub-frame section, MTW rear sets, L/P radiator guard, Vortex frame sliders, 520 chain kit with numerous extras sprockets, 16.5 Marivac wheels. Extras: rear stand, extra Micron exhaust system, Yoshumira cams, pistons, rods, oil pump, engine covers, brake pads, oil pan, dyno covers, instrument panel, levers, water pump and what ever else I can find when cleaning out my garage.
