I've used the AV39/40 in a huge variety of situations and on all types of road surfaces.
Stick like glue. Even the XX's huge torque doesn't slide them easily, and when they do power slide, they are very controllable and confident.
Perfectly stable at all speeds. Excellent road feel, more than most any tire I've tried.
Quick turning, neutral, and very light. They stay right where you put them, at any lean angle. I've actually taken my hands off the bars in a variety of corners, and it just stays there. Light steering responds instantly.
Great street tire with very good cold traction and reasonable wet traction. The dual-compound rubber results in great wear without loss of traction in corners. Resist flat-spotting extremely well.
