road conditions,warm,sunny
exellent
exellent feed back
quick handling,a racy feel
As good as it gets on the road
Type of surface tested on. Temp. Weather Conditions 3000 miles of warm weather
Excellent grip and gets up to temp immediately.
Stability etc. Good but not the best. Front tire is on the stiff side and reacts to small bumps more than others. Otherwise no faults
Quick or slow to lean in or react to changes. Very quick turning and to change lines. The downside is that the smallest input at the bars will make it change lines (even in a banked turn). Plenty of grip and they'll hold they're own but gotta be extra carefull at the bars. Not the most relaxed ride out there. Also very touchy on air pressure, a couple of psi under and the handling deterirates drastically, a couple of psi over and the ride gets too harsh.
Excellent grip to life ratio (at 3k miles they're still good) very minimal cupping. Good but not perfect compromise between stability and nimbleness. Slightly harsh ride.
Dry , 70-95 degrees farenheit Canyons and Trackdays
Excellent but rear tire will spin up on the race track
Very Stable and confidence inspiring
Medium effort to lean in excellent side to side transitions
Good bang for the buck But poor milege 1000-1200 miles front 800-1000 miles rear 3 sets

Mainly dry pavement. Temperatures ranging anywhere from 0 to 30 degrees celcius. 5600 km from end of March to July.
This is my first sportbike, was riding "customs" before. At first felt ok but a bit "springy" at the edge. Then had to switched to a pair of Metz Sportec and realised how poor the grip was on the BT012.
They felt "springy" when leaned hard. At first thought it was the bike but at 5600 km switched to the Metz Sportec and discovered a new bike !
Reaction time is good and farely quick but very vage in feel. They don't track solidely enough, they tend to make the bike wander somewhat.
Thought they were ok at first, afterall it was my only experience so far with a sportbike, but that was before I experienced what else was out there. Would definately not recommend. + they only lasted 5600 km
New England...Mainly 70-85 F...little rain
Excellent gripping. I fell that they're much better than the Dunlop 207 and 208 that I've had. They're much quicker to get up to temp than the Pilot Sports that I've tried. With the stock bt-11 front, I had 2 front end skids (yes I fully loaded the front springs first..it wasn't just squeaze the brake lever like a stong man contest)...These 12ss' have never locked up on me (I don't use the rear brake much). Clutching wheelies won't spin 'em up unless it's below 55 out...My buddies D208's smoke up until it's nearly 80 out (me riding his gsx-r1000..so same style riding)
Good feel. Yes, they're sensitive to psi, but what tire isn't? I haven't had them start to slip, so I can't truely say how good the feedback is (until you lose the traction, you don't know how close you are)....but I think I've been real close ...so yes..good feel
Great stability. Quick turn-ins. I agree that they're sensitive to handle bar input...but I like that..
I like 'em a lot. Haven't tried the Pilot Power, but these tires are so rounded (vs the D207/208 -fairly flat) that they'll definitley help quicken you stearing. GREAT BANG for the BUCK (I paid $300 including mount/balancing)
