Dunlop D207GP Review

Surface

all track conditions and all road conditions.all weather. love the way they feel in the rain.

Grip

great tire. in medium soft compound while racing they come in fast and run real good all the way to the wear bars. on the street they give you alot of extra grip.(please note) tell your friends that you have them on. because they pick up road debre and toss i back.both uses race or street they work really well in the rain.no need to spend extra money on rain tires.the only problem with race compound tires is the cost. the price tag is abit higher.

Stability

real good feel.stable in any lean angle.the first time i used the 207's i found myself pushing it in harder and faster....and after all is'nt that what we want to do any how???? i know she enjoyed it

Handling

point and shoot it's that easy.after you use them you'll see how easy it is to back it in to a corner.

Comments

if i hav'nt siad enough by now there somthing wrong.defenitly looking forward to trying the 208's

Surface

Clean, smooth roads in perfect weather.

Grip

Great grip when warm, horrible when cold. Deadly when cold, in fact.

Stability

Fairly unstable while at the same time being hard to initiate into a turn. Bike felt jittery on the freeway.

Handling

Slow and heavy to turn. Decent stability in turns, usually stays where you put it. Does seem to have a couple of positions it prefers over others, though.

Comments

Pretty bad street tire, but good for the track as it is intended. Needs to be at the right operating temperature and conditions. Goes "off" after a few heat cycles and loses grip.

Surface

tested on good,bad,dirt,track,drisle and downpour

Grip

must be warmed up (i found out hard way)even if your not pushing once warm awesome grip. confidence ispiring in the wet. i found i could push almost as hard in wet than as in dry.

Stability

gives good feedback in most conditions. smooth and stable in turns fairly shaky at over 240kph streight line but ok high speed corner (200kph turn 1 at eastern creek)

Handling

for a heavy bike i was able to chuck around the zx7 like it was a 600

Comments

id like to try the 208's to see if there better if not ill get 207gp's again

Surface

Canyons Wet and Dry conditions 70-100 degrees farenheit

Grip

Stick like glue everywhere and anywhere.

Stability

Rock solid at all lean angles

Handling

Slightly quick steering (I like it),excellent side to side transition.

Comments

The best tires I have ridden on. They get good wear too for a full race if not abused approx 2000 miles on a set maybe slightly more or less depending on the rider, bike and "smoothness" of the pilot
