Type of surface tested on. Temp. Weather Conditions. temp today was 78 and weather was a bit windy, tested on the street.
They stick like glue!!
Stability etc. AWSOME
Quick or slow to lean in or react to changes. they seem to react good and have a great feel when flicking from side to side.
So far ive got 200 street miles on them and as of now id recomend them to anyone.
Tested on road and track.. Gave me my best track times yet !! Full of confidence, Also the best wet road tyre I've tried.
Had no scary moments even when tyre was melting at the track day...still stuck like glue.
The tyres have a sharp profile which I guess gives the bike a quick turn in.
Excellent handling tyre with awesome drop in and holds lines well.
The D207RR is the D207 Carcass with D207GP Rubber, I managed to get 3500km of good riding.. Grip or slip you decide
Type of surface tested on. Temp. Weather Conditions Warm weather, wore two sets of them in 4800m total
Very good grip wet or dry, fairly quick to get up to temp.
Stability etc. Front very compliant, absorbs shocks from cat's eyes and small bumps extremely well but its profile makes it react to rain grooves more than other brands
Quick or slow to lean in or react to changes. Fast drop in and holds a line incredibably well, the downside is that takes more effort to make it change lines or to upright the bike. (the opposite of the BT012ss)
Very fast cupping front and fast wearing rear (too fast for the grip that it has). I really like their qualities, but due to cupping they have too short a life for the money, after 1,000 they already start deteriorating.
Dry Track Days and Canyons
Faultless ... Excellent wet or dry Stuck like glue on racetrack!
Very stable Hold a great line even on the brakes. Transmit a little bit too much of the road through to the rider ... but fine once gotten used to.
Excellent ... can not fault!
Im on my second set right now !! Mileage ?? Around 1000 to 1200 streeet with 1 track day? Can be found for good price!!
Type of surface tested on. all type of roads Temp.40-80 Weather Conditions sunny and dry.
grip medium
Stability etc. a medium feel.
Quick or slow to lean in or react to changes. in slow turns its ok, but at highspeed its fuckin slow.
i put 207rr on my old bike two years ago.a gsxr 750-97. and the change was surprising. in slow and medium turns it feels ok,but nothing special... in highspeed turning its fuckin scary, the bike will not turn at all..(almost).. at 150 mph the bike will not do what you like, must use real musclepower or you must slow down and then turn....real scary if you ask me.. feels like the front rim it 20 pounds heavier. stability like a tank, way to much... i guess its a track tire only......
TYPICAL ROAD SURFACE FOR PHOENIX, AZ. AT 500 MILES I NOTICED SOME SLIGHT CUPPING. I THINK THAT IS A MIXTURE OF 100+ DEGREE TEMPERATURES AND THE EXTENSIVE SIDEROAD WHEELIES AND STOPPIES.
GOOD GRIP, EVEN WITH THE HEAVIER BIKE AND RIDER. I HAVE NOT ONCE LOST GRIP WITHOUT TRYING TOO.
EVEN WITH THE CUPPING IT IS STILL A SMOOTHE TIRE. THE FEEL IS EXACTLY WHAT I WOULD EXPECT FROM A GOOD TIRE.
FOR NORMAL STREET RIDING IT REACTS THE WAY YOU WANT IT NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. YOU DON'T HAVE TO REACT TO IT, IT WILL GO WITH THE FASTEST AND SLOWEST REACTION.
I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED THE DUNLOP, AMONG SOME OF THE OTHERS. I AM SOLD ON THIS ONE. I FEEL I WOULD WANT SOME IMPROVEMENT DONE WITH THE CUPPING PROBLEM. IT IS A GOOD TIRE FOR THE STREET NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO.
