Surface

I ran this tire all year around for two seasons in the Northeast where we experince it all weather wise.

Grip

Pretty decent especially in the rain.

Stability

I felt confident with the stability.

Handling

The reaction appeared to be slow but satisfactory to me.

Comments

If you are looking for a tire to give you excellent mileage and good grip especially for a big bike like mine, look no further. For example I was able to get 11,000 miles on the front and 8,000 on the rear. Not bad!

Surface

Live in Louisiana. Have seen very hot weather, rain, and even cold temps (30's) Road surfaces are concrete and asphalt with a LOT of expansion joints

Grip

good grip, no concerns yet and have worn completely to the edge.

Stability

good stability, very predictable

Handling

good match to the SV, as it is a very light bike to start with. The profile may be a little slow on other bikes, but it is very smooth.

Comments

getting great milage, and have ridden them pretty hard so far. Have 5600 miles on them, looks like I can get another 3000 miles out of them, maybe more if I take it a bit easier in the twisties! Yea right!!!

Surface

Type of surface tested on. Temp. Weather Conditions streets, highways, and cannyon. Temperature varies from 32 degrees to 95 degrees. Rideng in sunny weather, rain, and tropical rain.

Grip

Once the tires are well warmed up, they hold all the way to the edge. However, they do slide badly when cold.

Stability

They feel stable in most corners.

Handling

Handling was on the slow slide, but it is a sport touring tire which is all fair.

Comments

The tires are decent overall and if we look at them versus other sport touring tire they fair well. As far as the mileage I manage to get 5637 out of them. I would recommend this tire to people seeking a long lasting tire but not for people interested in handling and performance.

Surface

Type of surface tested on. Vancouver island roads. Temp.10-35c Weather Conditions mostly warm and dry, some rain spots.

Grip

They felt unstable in the rain ( i wasn't pushing it eather)could eastly get tire spin. On the highways great. in the twistys i often niticed some light slippage, and have never dragged the beggs.

Stability

They wanted to stand the bike up, felt mushy in deep corners. However that are smooth tires on the highway.

Handling

i would say slower to lean in. Overall not confident feeling. Have had experienced rigers say how "can you keep up on theas things".

Comments

My bike is heavyer than most, but i am only 170, so that may play a role. I would sugest these to somone tooking for a tire that will last a long time, and always does the speed limit (not agressive) i have 16000km on these and should get about 2000 more.

Surface

Type of surface tested on. Temp. Weather Conditions

Grip

Never lost grip on me, but since I live in FL, the tires never get really cold. I run a 1/2" chicken strip on the rear tire, but since I never run track, this may not be a bad thing.

Stability

Very smooth and predictable on all surfaces and in the rain. The OEM Bridgestones were scary, but never these ME-Z4 Metzlers.

Handling

Neutral. The Bridgestones 'fell in' on slow turns, but the MEZ4's feel completely predictable and don't add handling problems of their own. The Tires have seen occasional runs up to 135mph, feeling no different at that speed than they feel at 70mph.

Comments

I would definitely buy another set of Metzler tires for the GSF1200 Suzuki Bandit.
