  • Tire: Pilot Race H2

Surface

Type of surface tested on. Temp. Weather Conditions temp anywhere from 55deg f to98deg f (don`t forget to warm them up)conditions anywhere from 30 year old marbled asphault to pristine week old circuit tarmac used on dry and extremely damp evenings and everything inbetween

Grip

Confidence inspiring for the advanced rider (it`s all about the feel) they seem like they`ll never let go, the stickiest Ive riden thus far.

Stability

Stability etc.Twitchier than some(due to narow profile), but wont catch you off.

Handling

Quick or slow to lean in or react to changes.Extremely fast turn in at all speeds after the turn in they seem to fall over quit quickly (again due to the profile). Amazing reaction to throttle and braking changes let them slip and slide if you whish.Once a few thrashing miles are logged I believe many riders would agree this is the most sublime rubber readily available.

Comments

Don`t forget to warm them up unless you fancy power sliding the first few hard ones. Highly recomended for the hadder riding of the bunch. In the past ive riden dunlops of the 204, 207, 207gp,and 208 Bridgestones of the 056, 010,and 012 Metzlers of the mez4, and rennsport Michelin pilot sports and so far the H2 is the one for me the. Comprable tires from other companies worked well but I believe the H2 is the fastest turning of the bunch. I scored them a mid 8 because there`s allways room for improvement. Although to date they very well could be a 10.

Surface

Type of surface tested on. Temp. Weather Conditions race track use in all types of weather including wet

Grip

Tire great is awesome, tires are not for street use or wet weather so some will say they take to long to heat up but at race track pace they heat up nicely and can be heat cycled a number of times

Stability

Stability etc. Stability is perfect

Handling

Quick or slow to lean in or react to changes. Tires are one of the fastest steering race dots available.

Comments

These tires are great race or track day tires. Don't be fooled by the dot ratinig. Bad reviews of these tires are usally because they were used as street tires. Use them for what they are for and you'll have trouble finding a all around better tire.
