Tested on smooth, clean roads, in perfect weather.
Great grip, though I didn't take it all the way to the limits. Still, under power, it was very sticky and controllable.
Perfectly stable. Very good road feel. Less feel than the Avon AV39/40, but also smoother on the road.
Very responsive and light feeling. Very neutral, they stay where you put them. On the MV it made the bike seem to turn before you asked it to.
Great street tire in real-world road conditions. Good wet traction, and very good cold traction. Not dual compound, so it does flat-spot more than the dual compound tires now available.
Dry and Wet between 70 and 100 degrees farenheit
Excellent grip in both dry and wet conditions. Rear slides when really pushed but feels controllable.
Very stable with good feedback
Fairly light and nuetral feeling, bike doesnt stand up when trail braking. Confidence inspiring tire.
Good wear charcteristics for this type of tire. 1rst Front 3300 miles 2nd Pilot sport front tire appeared to have 400-800 miles when bike sold 2050 miles on it. 1rst Rear 2300 cool weather 2nd Rear 1764 warm weather 3rd Rear had 1223 miles on it when bike sold had maybe 300 miles left on it. Much much better than Dunlop D207ZR or Avon Azaro I In my opinion
Type of surface tested on. Temp. Weather Conditions. Street tested.
Great grip, total confidence in cornering, and acceleration. Rumors have it that they need to be warmed up (because its a cold blooded tire) but no problems for me. (however I don't romp on it from the get go).
Stability etc. Very Stable, better than the Dunlop 207's.
Quick or slow to lean in or react to changes. For street riding I wouldn't choose any other brand. The contact patches are huge and your confidence in these tires will improve also. Very stable at both low and high speeds.
I initially chose this tire for its contact patches and physical attributes. It's is surely peakier than any tire I know and you feel it when you turn, It dives right into them. But caution the rumors of them having a long heat cycle. But for alomst 2K miles, I have no complaints and have already chosen my next tire. Pilot sports!
smooth, & rough pavement, all temps,
exceptional grip when up to riding temperatures
stable as a rock
very neutral, confidence inspiring.
at cold temps I have to be conservative on the throttle with my 954 till the tires get up to temp, but after that,I can let er rip. excellent street tire with very good wear characteristics, had em on my 01'600 F4i, & have already worn out & replaced the back tire (with a pilot sport) on my 954rr.
Type of surface tested on. Temp. Weather Conditions: Warm humid weather, 70-110 degrees F, Dry Pavement, mostly smooth
Grip is awesome. They will hold a corner at well over 100 miles per hour even if the peg is scrapping the ground. They warm up quick and are very sticky.
Stability etc. Great feel, very stabile, quick turning tire.
Quick or slow to lean in or react to changes. React very well, turnes in quickly
I have riden the 207s and the Pilot Sport, both are a great tire. But if you want to have a great time on your bike and not worry about your tires holding the hard corners then this is the tire for you. I only gave it a 9 because I am sure they can improve on it, some how.
Type of surface tested on. All street, high altitude Temp. 55 - 70 Weather Conditions cool sunny.
What they tell you about cold blooded is TRUE. This tire is very fine once warm, but cool days cool tires and cool pavement are a greesy combo. be warned.
Stability etc. 10
Quick or slow to lean in or react to changes. neutral, as you would want
Good tire, but for my riding, I want better stick under all circumstances, I'm gonna try the Metzler M1
Dry conditions. Warm beautiful weather.
OK
Never knew if the tire will hold or not
Take VERY, VERY , VERY long to warm up.
I went down on this tires. Back wheel just came out from under me on left turn. Smae with my friend.Same weather condition his bike was 2000 CBR 954. Do not buy these tires. You will regret it.
Type of surface tested on. Temp. Weather Conditions dry warm weather
it handles great on straight ways and does pretty well on curve.
i don't know if it is the power of my bike or i am doing something wrong but i have been riding for 5 years on the same bike but when i brake i feel like i am sliding a little on the rear tire
Quick or slow to lean in or react to changes. it moves from left to right with ease
overall a good tire i give it a 8.5
Type of surface tested on. Temp. Weather Conditions:all above.
perfect
Stability etc.perfect
Quick or slow to lean in or react to changes.perfect
Type of surface tested on.Canyon Highways Temp.87 f to 90f Weather Conditions dry and hot
Very smooth into and out of corners. Has a I won't slide feel to it.
Very nice at low and high speeds
Reacted very nice when changes needed to be made.Over all the best tire I have ridden on.
I realy like this tire i dont think i will ride on any other for awhile.
Type of surface tested on: everything from rough to new pavement. Temp: 50-110F Weather Conditions: Raining to Clear.
Excellent grip, quick to warm up at 34-35-PSI F/R. I have wore the Michelin men completely off both side on 3 rear tires and on my second front. Grip well even when not warmed up or on cold pavement or wet pavement. Even on damp to wet pavement I never felt in jepordy of going down when slowing down for the road considitions.
Good stability even on rough pavement. Excellent in curves, holds line.
Very responsive tire. Leans in as quick or slow as you want it to. Very stable.
I love these tires. Just switched to pilot powers and they are even better. The Sports' only draw back is they wear fairly fast if you ride hard. My first two I got 3500 and 3200 respectively out of. I ride back roads in curves more than anything else. They have never let me down. I give them a 9 only because I wish they would last for 5k miles or so.
Type of surface tested on. Temp. Weather Conditions All year round - Hot, Cold, Dry & Wet
Excellent grip while braking and in high speed turns in both wet and dry conditions.
Stability etc. Very Stable.
Quick or slow to lean in or react to changes. Very responsive
Due to Soft compound you'll have a lot of flats during hot weather, Both my front and rear had a flat within 2 weeks and 300 miles.
