Greetings fellow
webbers. My name is Steve.
I'm the author of Cybersportbike.com, and
I'm a bikeoholic. Ok... really... I do like go-fast bikes and other motor sports,
but there is way more to me than just that. My place of origin is actually
the west side of Cleveland, Ohio (USA) and I
moved to Columbus in my early
teens. Most people who knew me in my early years would have guessed I
would become a famous rock drummer or perhaps a race car driver. The
truth is, so did I. Well, you never know what fate will throw your
way. Instead, I run a retail mobile communications store for Cingular
Wireless. I also have a wife (Stefanie) and son (Lucas) who take
up the other third of my life. Home and car audio has been another
hobby of mine. This makes me able to bore you to tears with details and specs on just about anything
electronic. I used to manage a store for a local high-fi dealer in
Columbus called Stereolimited.
I currently play drums for a few musical groups around Columbus including
Brian Kerr
and Six Pack Theory.
I became interested in motorcycles back in the 70's during the
boom of the first supersport bikes. The CB750, the Z-1 etc. My older
brother rode a 1979 Honda CBX and worked in a bike shop for a while. This
left me wanting a bike until my mid 20's when I could afford a basic starter
sportbike. (an FZR600) I attended
the California Superbike School and got
to meet and learn a lot from Keith Code. This was one of the best
experiences of my life. The next season I went back for level 2 and learned
some more. I highly recommend this program to all riders in search of
greater confidence and skill. I also always wear gear.. helmet,
gloves, boots ,jacket and full leathers whenever possible. I suggest you
consider how much worse the odds are stacked against you if you don't. Well I'm done preaching for now.
I hope you enjoy the site.
